It is reported that in order to play a good boxing role, Ming Dao specially accepted more than three months of devil training, not only developed a pair of enviable muscles, but also gained a lot of boxing experience.

Ming Dao learned boxing from Robert De Niro

In order to make "Love Close at Hand", Ming Dao found dozens of boxing-related movies, and said that he liked Robert De Niro’s performance in it, and would watch and learn when he had time. "I didn’t know much about boxing before, I thought it was just two people rushing up like beasts to fight, and then I learned that the game of boxing is about defense, protection, footsteps and rhythm, and then completely control your own strength and center of gravity. To help Ming Dao find the best boxing condition, the crew specially invited professional boxing coaches from Thailand to conduct collective training for him and Peng Yuyan." The most difficult part is the consistent training, "Ming Dao said." The daily training is monotonous and boring, and you have to stick to it, such as constantly practicing skipping rope to develop a sense of rhythm. " Not only that, Ming Dao also listened to boxing lessons from professional coaches every morning in addition to more than two hours of basic training such as running, skipping rope, and push-ups. After more than three months of hard training, Ming Dao finally developed a body of muscles, and talked about boxing skills incessantly.

Ming Dao fought against various boxing masters in Taiwan

In order to let Ming Dao experience the real boxing experience, director Cheng Xiaoze specially selected dozens of elites from the boxing clubs of major universities in Taiwan as Ming Dao’s sparring opponents. They all have rich practical experience and fighting skills, and let them fight against Ming Dao in the ring. In order to prevent accidents, the crew specially customized a complete set of professional-grade helmets, mouth guards, sports shorts and crotch guards for Ming Dao. "Two people stood in the ring for no reason. At the beginning, I was not used to it." Ming Dao broke the news, but later he finally understood, "I don’t want to beat you, but I can’t help but want to hit you, because we are here for competition." It is reported that Guo Caijie did not have a boxing scene in the film, but seeing that Mingdao and Peng Yuyan were both practicing very vigorously, they couldn’t hold back their blood impulses, so they automatically joined boxing training, and they were also very handsome when they punched.

"Close Love" will be released in front of lovers at the Qixi Festival on August 13.
