Specifically, Jianghuai Automobile is responsible for the product development of the cooperative models between the two parties, and Jianghuai Automobile is responsible for building a production base to realize the delivery of the cooperative models. Jianghuai Automobile agrees that Huawei Terminal or its designated third party will provide exclusive sales services for cooperative vehicles on a global scale. On November 30th, Mercedes-Benz (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and BMW Brilliance Automobile Co., Ltd. announced the signing of a cooperation agreement. The two parties will set up a joint venture company in China with a share ratio of 50:50 to operate a super charging network in the China market, so as to jointly meet the growing demand of China customers for luxury charging services.
By the end of 2026, the joint venture company plans to build at least 1,000 super charging stations with advanced technology and about 7,000 super-charged piles in China. The charging network of the joint venture company will be open to the public.
