Zhang Hanyu recalled: "The film Hunt was introduced to China in 1977, just after the Gang of Four was crushed in the early days of reform and opening up. Before that, we didn’t see modern Japanese movies, and we didn’t see movie characters like Gao Cangjian and Mayumi on the screen, so it attracted the audience in China at that time and made everyone shine. I think that at least 400 million or 500 million people saw the film "Hunting", which has formed a cultural event in that year, that is, crosstalk, allegro and opera should put the elements of "Hunting" in later literary works. At that time, the classic "Song of Du Qiu" also sang all over China. "
This time, Zhang Hanyu dreamed of covering "Song of Du Qiu" when he was a child. At the press conference of the new edition "Hunting", he also sang this song without words live with the guitar accompaniment of Fukuyama Masaharu.
"In those days, I watched the movie Hunting more than 30 times in the cinema because I had to remember the lines in this movie, from the first sentence to the last sentence. At that time, there was no tape recorder or TV, so it was impossible to intercept the recording. I was in the first year of senior high school, and CCTV set up a translation team of the International Department, so I sent a tape (imitating Hunt). After about ten days, they sent me a letter asking me to audition. Since then, I have embarked on the road of dubbing because of the movie Hunt. In those days, "Chasing" was dubbed by a group of excellent voice actors from Shanghai Film Translation Factory. I like Mr. Qiu Yuefeng’s voice best, that is, the voice of Dr. Tangta. I still have a trace of his voice. " Therefore, after Zhang Hanyu was admitted to the Performance Department of the Central Academy of Drama, he was nicknamed "Little Qiu Yuefeng" by his classmates.
In 2007, Zhang Hanyu imitated Mr. Qiu Yuefeng’s classic lines in "An Appointment between Lu and Yu": "Look, Du Qiu, what a blue sky. Go straight on, and you will melt into the blue sky. Go, go straight ahead, and don’t look both ways … …” At that time, he would never have thought that he would repeat this line at the beginning of the new edition of Hunt ten years later.

In addition to Qiu Yuefeng’s dubbing, the image of Gao Cangjian in the old version of Chasing also had a far-reaching impact on Zhang Hanyu’s later development: "We like the image of a man like Gao Cangjian, because there was nothing like it in China’s movies that year. At that time, they were all cream students. Gao Cangjian, a man of forbearance and strong character, said little. He was wronged and no one could help him. So he gritted his teeth and fled by himself, finally proving his innocence. At that time, all the men who specialize in’ Du Qiu Head’ in our shop were posted at the door of the barber shop, all of whom were inch plate, and all of them stood up to learn from Du Qiu. We only went to middle school that year, and it was time to imitate. Gao Cangjian’s screen image really influenced my later life, and made me feel that I should be a man. Later, when I became an actor, my film works were basically the images of this man. So this movie really has a great influence on me. "
From Zhang Hanyu’s film representative works, we can see this imprint. From "The Villain in the Kitchen" to the recent "Chasing", the core words are tough guy, brave righteousness, integrity, blood and so on, which are also a continuation of the "Du Qiu spirit".
Will you get tired of always playing the same type of roles? Zhang Hanyu said, "Anyway, I liked this type from the beginning, so I chose this type of roles. … … When I was five or six years old, my idol was Yang Zirong. I studied Yang Zirong every day. After I became an actor, I played my idol. Gao Cangjian was my idol when I was a teenager, and 40 years later I played Du Qiu. Yang Zirong pays tribute to my idol, and Du Qiu pays tribute to my idol, so I think I am very lucky to be an actor. But I still have a lot of idols to play, so I think there is still room and I have to continue to play my idols. "

Through Fu Biao’s introduction, Zhang Hanyu worked as a "walk-on" in Xiaogang Feng’s films for 8 years. And Fukuyama Masaharu rely on "spiritual friendship", and then carefully pick up action movies.
In this remake of Chasing, Huanya Company didn’t get the copyright of the old film, but only got the copyright of the original novel Crossing the River of Anger, so the new version has changed a lot in character setting, plot trend and style type. From the original grim and cold film noir style, and Hitchcock’s "39 Steps" style plot structure, it has become a Wu Yusen-style commercial genre film that combines police and robbers, action, gun battles and brotherhood.
Zhang Hanyu explained: "Although the character is also called Du Qiu, he has become a China native and a lawyer with the surname of Du Mingqiu. The setting of Makoto Beauty is completely different from the original. Other characters are newly added, and the police chief Yacun is also very different from the original."
Speaking of the main partner, Fukuyama Masaharu, the actor of Yacun Sheriff, Zhang Hanyu admitted that the two people with language barriers mainly rely on "spiritual friendship": "There are many troublesome places for us to shoot this play. Our hands are handcuffed together and cannot be separated. I have to go there if he goes, and I have to go if he goes. Therefore, after the filming, the biggest wish is to let the person with the key quickly open our handcuffs so that everyone can move freely. When shooting, it’s not that they just sit, but they have to fight and run, which creates a lot of trouble. You run faster, he runs here and you are there, and how to coordinate your arms requires communication. Because we are all very good professional actors, we can understand with one look and one action at once, and sometimes we don’t need to translate. Because the translator is far away, it’s very troublesome to call him here. He talks a lot from there to here, explains it and then goes back. This process takes ten minutes, so we might as well shoot it. Therefore, it is rarely called translation, and we will solve each other. "
In the new edition of Chasing, director John Woo creatively designed the bridge section of "Two Heroes and One Shot", in which Zhang Hanyu and Fukuyama Masaharu were handcuffed, one loaded and the other shot. But behind these wonderful pictures, Zhang Hanyu has suffered unprecedented hardships. He thinks that the filming of Chasing is even harder than that of operation mekong: "I was very tired, and I was injured several times in the waist. Once I was badly injured, I almost couldn’t stand up, fearing that I couldn’t shoot. In the end, I felt that I overcame this pain by will. Last year, I was promoting Mekong River. I went to a city after five o’clock in the morning, and went to another place at night. I didn’t have a good rest and went back to Japan to continue filming Chase. I couldn’t lift this arm with a fist, and then I sprayed a lot of things and tied a lot of bandages to finish the scene. So when I go back to my room at night, I sit there panting, just like the wolf and wild animal licking their wounds alone at night after being injured outside. Later, I thought, I should be careful when I take this kind of action movie in the future, I can’t fight too much, I can’t stand it! "
Maybe we will seldom see Zhang Hanyu in action movies in the future, but we may see his achievements in other fields. For example, a few years ago, he planned to be a director. "Now he is more impulsive than the previous two years, and he has some desires, that is, he wants to present what he wants to say on the screen and present it to the audience in his own way." But so far, he has not encountered a suitable project. In addition, in the trend of many movies returning to the small screen, Zhang Hanyu also completed the filming of the TV series Chang ‘an in the World this year, and I believe that Wei Zhi, who he plays, will meet the audience soon.
